The Ombudsman appealed to the court of e-Declaration for activists

Denisov was sent to the constitutional Court of Ukraine with a demand to cancel the e-Declaration for social activists.

The Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for human rights, Lyudmila Denisova sent to the constitutional Court representation with the requirement to cancel the e-Declaration for social activists. She announced this on his page in Facebook on Wednesday, June 13.

According to the Ombudsman, this document is contrary to the principle of the rule of law and the Constitution.

“My position is unchanged – civil society as an organ of control of the authorities should be independent,” – said Denisov.

Recall that in March President Petro Poroshenko appealed to the Verkhovna Rada with a request to cancel e-Declaration for representatives of public organizations that are engaged in anti-corruption activities.
