“I appealed to the Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groisman, who gave instructions on resolving this issue. Held talks with the Kiev city Chairman Vitaly Klitschko, and a room was found. This is a 2 bedrooms with balcony, bathroom. Partially furnished – there are three beds, is now engaged in the fitting of furniture. Of course, this temporary housing, of six months or a year”, – said the Ombudsman.

Denisova reminded that the family of the released prisoner living in the annexed Crimea, and to go back for him now impossible. She also reported that before the release of the Kostenko tried to contact his mom but the phone disabled women “to protect themselves is not a secret that the phones listening in the Russian Federation”.

The Ombudsman also promised to help Kostenko to formalize the status of internally displaced persons.
