The opposition bloc has chosen candidates for elections to the Rada

The opposition bloc intends to hold a forum of the opposition in September

At the Congress of the political forces elected co-chairs of the party.

Today was the Congress party Opposition bloc, which identified candidates for elections to the Verkhovna Rada in five districts, the press service of the party.

The party decided to nominate their candidates for 5 of the 7 districts where the Central election Commission declared the election:

  • district 85 (Ivano-Frankivsk region), Volodymyr Klyus, head of the Fund “Ukrainian politics”;
  • district 114 (Luhansk region) – Boris Lebedev, the ex-Chairman of the Pskov regional Council;
  • district 151 (Poltava region) – Alexander Berezna, first Deputy Chairman of the cell ABOUT in Poltava region;
  • district 183 (Kherson) – Anna Sereda, the Deputy of Dneprovsky regional Council of the Kherson;
  • district 206 (Chernihiv) – Lydia Gajewski, former Deputy Chairman of the Chernihiv regional state administration.

Congress did not vote for the nomination of candidates in two districts where elections are announced: district 23 (Volyn oblast) and district 27 (Dnepropetrovsk).

The mid-term elections scheduled for July 17.

In addition, at the Congress were chosen co-chairmen of the party. They were Yuriy Boyko and Borys Kolesnikov.

In the Political Executive were: Yuriy Boyko, Yuri Nikolaev, Boris Kolesnikov, Alexander, Dmitry, Sergey Larin, Sergey Levochkin, Vadim Novinsky, Alexander Puzanov.

The co-chairs of the auditing Commission become Alex White and Natalia Korolevska.

Congress instructed the Political Executive in two months to form a proposal for the composition of the Political Council of the party Opposition bloc with the main goal – unification of all opposition forces, politicians, opinion leaders, representatives of local government.

Congress approved expanded Political Council of Opposition bloc in the national unity forum Opposition forces in September 2016.

As reported, on may 24, the CEC has registered the first candidates for elections to the Rada.
