The organization for security and cooperation in Europe (OSCE) prolonged the mandate of its mission at the checkpoints of Gukovo and Donetsk on the Ukrainian-Russian border. It is reported by the permanent mission of Ukraine to the international organizations in Vienna on Thursday, November 29.
It is noted that the mandate of the OSCE observation mission extended for six months.
“The decision on the continuation of the mandate of the OSCE Observation mission on PP Gukovo and Donetsk to 31.05.2019. The delegation of Ukraine in interpreting the statement stressed that Russia’s unwillingness to expand the mission to other border crossings indicate an intention to continue aggression against Ukraine”, – said the press service representative on Twitter.
Recall, the OSCE mission works in these areas from 29 July 2014.
