The organization plans to send to Russia 420 short-term and 80 long-term observers, but the final list has not yet been formed.

Office for democratic institutions and human rights (ODIHR) of the OSCE will observe the elections of the Russian President to annexed Crimea. About it told the official representative of the office of Thomas Rymer, RIA Novosti reported.

“Among the countries in the OSCE is no consensus on this issue, which means we can’t be there (in Crimea – ed.) work,” said Raymer.

He noted that at the moment the beginning of work long-term observation mission of the OSCE / ODIHR on the elections in Russia is planned in early February of this year.

As reported Корреспондент.netin 2018 the results of the presidential elections will be questionable from the point of view of legitimacy. This is due to the planned voting on the territory of annexed Crimea.

We will remind, the Russian authorities postponed the election of the President in 2018, with 11 on March 18, the official date of the annexation of Crimea by Russian troops. This decision on 15 December unanimously adopted the Russian Federation Council.
