Kidnapping the leaders of the Crimean Euromaidan suspected one of the leaders of the “Crimean self-defence” Martian.

One of the leaders of the “Crimean self-defence” Armen Martoyan it is reported about suspicion in the kidnapping of Maidan activists Andrei Shchekun and Anatoly Kovalsky. On Monday, June 11, the press service of the Channel of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol.

The police recalled that Schekun and Kovalsky had been kidnapped on 9 March 2014 from train station in Simferopol. They spent 11 days in captivity, where they were tortured.

  • in the creation and leadership of illegal armed formation “- Defense of the Crimea” (p. 5.St.260 of the Criminal code of Ukraine).

At the moment Martana suspected of committing six offences for which he faces up to 15 years of imprisonment.
