Petro Poroshenko is in Avdeevka
Each EU country should take responsibility for the restoration of a specific settlement in the Donbass, said the Ukrainian leader.
The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko intends to urge the EU to take responsibility for recovery of specific localities in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions.
The head of state said during a trip to the city of Avdeevka, according to Interfax-Ukraine on Sunday, 26 August.
“The Ukrainian Ambassador will do several very important things – the mobilization of the world to restore the infrastructure of Donbass” – said Poroshenko.
He noted that the funds collected will be used, including, for the construction of roads in the Donbas.
According to the President, Ukraine’s leadership and its diplomatic mission will do everything possible “to each country of the European Union took responsibility for the restoration of a particular settlement in Donbass – Donetsk and Lugansk regions”.
Petro Poroshenko noted that in Avdeevka heads of diplomatic missions of Ukraine in other States with which it intends to discuss this issue.
Earlier, President Poroshenko expressed belief that Ukrainian flag will soon be hoisted in Donetsk and congratulated the inhabitants of the city Day.
