In Davos, President Petro Poroshenko met with the managing Director of the IMF Christine Lagarde. Earlier a press-the Secretary of the Fund Jerry rice suggested that Lagarde and Poroshenko will discuss the country’s progress in the implementation of the EFF.
In Davos on Wednesday, 24 January, held a meeting of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and head of the International monetary Fund Christine Lagarde. About this informed the press-Secretary of Ukrainian President Svyatoslav Tsegolko in his Twitter.

After the meeting Poroshenko said that Ukraine is ready to continue cooperation with the Fund, as an indicator of the credibility of domestic reform.
“Today with the managing Director of the International monetary Fund, Christine Lagarde, we had a constructive and open meeting and discussed all open issues of cooperation between Ukraine and the IMF”, – said the head of state.
He also confirmed their readiness to continue cooperation with the IMF.
Recall that the Fund had previously demanded from Poroshenko to change the submitted bill to create an anti-corruption court “assumed obligations.”
