The Prosecutor’s office of Kiev will hold a series of examinations under the fatal accidents involving patrol. Reports a press about it-service of Prosecutor’s office of Kiev in Facebook.

“The investigator of Prosecutor’s office of Kiev in the investigation of criminal proceedings initiated on the fact of road accident near the metro station “Dorogozhichi” with participation of the car of the patrol police, appointed is judicial-medical and autotechnical and comprehensive technical expertise,” – said in the message.

In addition, in connection with the death of 58-year-old victim, the criminal proceedings are reclassified to part 1 of article 286 of the criminal code of Ukraine in part 2 of article 286 of the criminal code of Ukraine – violation of the rules of traffic safety which has entailed death of the victim.

It is noted that the measured COP of the driver, witnesses to the incident, claimed, and examined records from surveillance cameras.

Also, the capital prosecutors appealed to the State Agency of highways of Ukraine with the requirement to provide schemes of work of traffic lights in the area where the accident occurred.

We will remind, the accident occurred at the intersection of Khreschatyk street and Melnikov in the Shevchenko district of the capital. The patrol police car made arrival on the woman-the pedestrian.

The victim in serious condition was hospitalized in one of capital hospitals. Then the Prosecutor’s office on this fact opened criminal proceedings under article 286 of the criminal code of Ukraine (violation of safety rules of the road).

The patrol involved in the accident, was removed from service. Also it became known later that a car of the patrol police, who yesterday knocked on the Complex woman who allegedly ran a red light.
