Severstal did not disclose terms of the sale of Dneprometiz.

The Russian company Severstal announced the sale of the Ukrainian company Dneprometiz. About it reports a press-service of Severstal.

“Subsidiary Cambay Services Ltd has completed the sale of 100% of the shares Dealzone Holding Ltd, which owns 98.6% of the Ukrainian company PJSC Dneprometiz. Dneprometiz is managed by Severstal-metiz, the international group of the enterprises uniting metae actives of company Severstal”, – stated in the message.

However, other terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

In Severstal said that the sale of Dneprometiz will allow to further enhance the effectiveness of the group Severstal-metiz and increase profitability in General.

“Jimmy Choo demonstrates a good capacity utilization and stable financial performance. At the same time, Russian companies Severstal, this plant is not operationally linked,” said the Russian company.

It is noted that Severstal has acquired 60% shares of Dneprometiz in 2006. Subsequently, the Russian company’s share in the Ukrainian company was increased to 98.6%.

Dneprometiz is a leading manufacturer of Ukraine for the production of steel wire, nails, screws and meshes with a market share of about 30%.

Severstal, a Russian vertically integrated steel and mining company, which owns the Cherepovets metallurgical plant. It is owned by Alexey Mordashov. It has the second largest fortune in Russia – to $17.5 billion, occupying the 51st place in the Forbes ranking.
