The family of the commander of UPA was 3 thousand PLN.

The security service of Ukraine today, on the occasion of the 110th anniversary of the birth of the commander of the UPA Roman Shukhevych published documents on his life and activities. Most of them unknown to the General public, but researchers, the press service of the Ministry.

In the documents there is a Protocol of the interrogation of the wife of Shukhevych – Natalia, who told the NKVD about unknown to the General public the episodes of his life with the commander of the UPA.

So, in the published documents of Natalia Shukhevych said that during his stay in Lviv in 1942, no help from her husband, but was not six months, she got food for herself and her children as family of a soldier of the German army.

Natalia also told during the interrogation that her personal request through the local German authorities, she received 3 thousand PLN for the education of children. It was at the end of 1942 or beginning of 1943.

“After leaving Shukhevych of the German army food supply I stripped”, – stated in the interrogation Protocol.
