The Minister of sports of Russian Federation Vitaly Mutko did not rule out the possibility that the Russian team will not be on the summer Olympics in 2016 in Rio de Janeiro, reports “Interfax” with reference to the broadcast of Russian TV channels.

According to the report, commenting on the statement of the President of the International Olympic Committee Thomas Bach at the doping scandal in Russia, Mutko said that the international investigation into anti-doping Agency WADA on the use of Russian athletes of prohibited drug Meldonium should be completed in mid-June.

“Wait, when WADA in mid-June finish of the study. View their insights. Again, we will support the efforts of those athletes who will go to court to defend their rights. So just one is not going to give anyone,” he said.

Earlier, Thomas Bach said that if they revealed evidence of the existence in Russia of an organized and extensive system of doping in different sports, the IOC will be forced to take a difficult decision.
