The state Department is concerned about the limitations of the OSCE in the Donbass

The separatists often don’t allow observers of the OSCE mission on the territory under their control.

Press Secretary, U.S. Department of State Heather Nauert reported that the state Department is concerned about the limited access for observers of the OSCE SMM in the occupied separatist areas of Eastern Ukraine, reports UKRINFORM.

“We are seriously concerned about and we talked about it here on the (limited − edition) the capabilities of the observers to perform their duties. They are our eyes and ears in place, which provide the opportunity to evaluate and provide us with detailed reports on the situation,” − said Nauert.

She also called Eastern Ukraine “very dangerous zone”, where continued armed violence by Pro-Russian forces and recalled that on the eve of “thirteen or even more Ukrainian soldiers killed in attacks under the leadership of Russia.”

As reported Корреспондент.net, US special envoy on Ukraine Kurt Volker visited Eastern Ukraine and stated that the conflict in the Donbas is an act of aggression of the Russian Federation.

Informed observers of the OSCE mission, the separatists were not allowed to Novoazovsk, Yasinovataya, Svetlodarsk.
