Claire Spottiswoode has experience in the national regulator for great Britain’s gas supply.

At the first meeting of the new composition of the Supervisory Board of Naftogaz, which took place on 22 December 2017, its Chairman was elected Claire Spottiswoode. About it reports a press-service of the company.

The position of Chairman continues to occupy the Minister, which performs this authority on April 18, 2017.

The meeting was attended by all the members of the Supervisory Board of Naftogaz: Claire Spottiswoode (UK), Bruno Leska (France), Amos Hochstein (USA), Stephen Hayes (Canada), Mr Kudrytska, Sergey Popik, and Volodymyr demchyshyn (Ukraine).

The next meeting is scheduled for the end of January 2018. It is planned to consider the appointment of chairmen and the formation of four committees of the Supervisory Board.

It is noted that Clare Spottiswoode has many years of experience in the oil and gas sector in 1993-1998 she worked at the national regulator for great Britain’s gas supply (Ofgas).

For the past 20 years has held the positions of independent Directors in public and non-public companies, worked as an economist at the Royal Treasury of Kingdom, Ministry of economy and Finance, taught in London business school.

Spottiswoode has a master’s degree in Economics in Yelsk University and a master’s degree in mathematics and Economics at Cambridge University.
