The Supreme economic court of Ukraine rejected the cassation complaint of Gazprom’s decision on collecting from the company of fines and penalties on 172 billion UAH for abuse of official position. It is reported by Interfax-Ukraine.

“The court ruled: the decision of Economic court of Kiev from December 5, 2016 and the resolution of the Kyiv economic court of appeal dated 22 February 2017 remain unchanged and a cassation appeal of PJSC “Gazprom” – without satisfaction”, – said the presiding judge Valentin paly.

In addition, the state Executive service of Ukraine opened proceedings on enforcement proceedings with Gazprom fine. This was announced by the representative of the interests of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine in court Mikhail Novitsky, writes RIA Novosti Ukraine.

We will remind, earlier Gazprom increased the amount of requirements to Naftogaz in the Stockholm arbitration. According to the document, the amount of requirements of the Russian monopoly increased from $31.7 billion to $37 billion.
