The Tax code introduced amendments in connection with cyber attack

The Parliament decided not to penalize the victims of cyber attacks for late payment of taxes.

The Verkhovna Rada amended the Tax code and freed the taxpayer from penalties for late registration of tax invoices due to cyber attacks.

For adoption of bill No. 6684 voted 254 deputies.

The document stipulates the period within which the taxpayer is required to renew the damaged database records.

In addition, it is envisaged to exempt from fines for late registration of tax invoices drawn up in the period 1 to 30 June. The Parliament provided the opportunity to register such taxes and the excise invoices until July 31.

Penalties in the amount of 10 percent of the repaid tax debt will not apply to monetary obligations, with a deadline of payment June 30.
