The Ukrainian foreign Ministry summoned the Ambassador of Palestine

The Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine summoned the Palestinian Ambassador in Kiev, Mohammed al-Assad because of statements by his colleagues in Russia Abdel Hafiz Nopala concerning Crimea, the press service of the Ministry.

Wednesday, September 19, Nofal said in an interview with Izvestia that the government of Palestine supported by Russia in the question of the status of Crimea. According to him, the Palestinian side “to understand what has happened in the region, and supports the right of peoples to self-determination”.

MFA of Ukraine appealed to al-Assad for clarification. In the end, he reiterated the Palestinian position regarding the territorial integrity of Ukraine, including Crimea.
