The UN high Commissioner for human rights Zeid RA’ad al-Hussein intends to soon visit Ukraine. He stated this at a meeting with Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavel Klimkin, reports the press center of the Ministry of foreign Affairs.

In addition the sides discussed issues of cooperation between Ukraine and the Office of the UN high Commissioner for human rights (OHCHR), in particular in the context of the activities of the Monitoring mission for human rights in Ukraine and possible involvement of technical assistance from OHCHR to specific aspects of the implementation of the Minsk agreements.

“The parties discussed the prospects of preparing a separate detailed report of OHCHR on the situation in the Russian-occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea pursuant to the resolutions of the General Assembly of the United Nations”, – stated in the message.
