The United Nations has published the report of the UN Secretary-General antónio Guterres on human rights violations in Russia-occupied Crimea. The text of the report, which will be presented on September 23 at the 74th session of the United Nations, published on the official website of the organization.

In a 20-page report focuses on the violation in the Crimea, citizenship rights, fair trial, liberty and security, to physical and mental integrity, and the violation of the rights of detainees.

Observed violations of freedom of thought, conscience, belief and religion freedom of opinion and expression, freedom of peaceful Assembly and Association.

Reported a violation of the rights to preservation of identity, culture and traditions, and economic, social and cultural rights, the right to education in their native language, and property rights.

In addition, the report refers to ignoring the prohibition of forced conscription and forced displacement.

The findings and recommendations of the UN report on the situation of human rights in the Crimea said that during the reporting period, the organization was unable to find a mutually acceptable formula for providing access control of the UN high Commissioner for human rights in the Crimea.

The report also calls for Russia to fulfill all its obligations to respect human rights in accordance with international humanitarian law.
