США впервые доставили сжиженный газ в Польшу

Poland has now said that American gas can come into Ukraine.

In Poland on the Baltic LNG terminal in świnoujście has arrived the first ship is a liquefied gas carrier Clean Ocean liquefied gas (LNG) from the United States, reports Polish radio.

As noted by the Vice-President of the Polish oil and gas concern PGNiG Maciej of Lviv, the gas is purchased at a good price within a short-term spot contract with Cheniere Energy.

According to him, the United States became the next region after the Middle East and Norway, where Poland will get gas in the framework of the strategy of diversification of sources of supply.

“This delivery is proof that the American gas through the territory of Poland can be put on the South and East of Europe, in particular in Ukraine”, – said Maciej of Lviv.

It is reportedly the first American gas supply not only for Poland, but also in Northern Europe. Earlier, U.S. LNG fell exclusively on the markets of southern Europe, particularly in Spain and Turkey.

In July, the LNG terminal in Swinoujscie will have another tanker with gas from the US. In 2016, the imports of liquefied gas totaled about 1 billion cubic meters in the first five months of 2017 – 0,62 billion.

As reported Корреспондент.netin August 2016, the United States brought to China the first batch of liquefied natural gas. Earlier in April, the United States began exporting gas to Europe.
