The political prisoner asked to stop hunger strike as Ukraine needs living heroes. 22 MPs have signed a collective letter.

People’s deputies of Ukraine sent to the political prisoner Vladimir Baluku collective appeal in which they urge him to stop the hunger strike. On Tuesday, April 10, the press service of the Verkhovna Rada.

The appeal was signed 22 deputies. The appeal of the deputies wrote April 6 in connection with the rapid deterioration in the health of Baluja and risk of loss of life.

Deputies expressed boundless respect for the Ukrainian political prisoner and his struggle and called for an end to the hunger strike.

“Ukraine needs living heroes. Your health and life will be the best part of the victory of Ukraine”, – said in the letter.

The appeal was signed by various factions and non-faction deputies Refat Chubarov, Svetlana Zalishchuk, Nayyem, Yegor Sobolev, Vladyslav Golub, Sergey Leshchenko, Valery Karpuntsov, Yuri Soloviev, Ivan Knotweed, Oleg Musiy, Viktor Krivenko, Vladimir Oreshenkov, Yuriy Derevianko, Leonid Yemets, Tetiana Ostrikova, Mikhail Golovko, Yury Pavlenko, Andriy Beletsky, Borislav Birch, Igor Shurma, Victor Volkov, Gennady Krivosheya.

Recall Baloch announced an indefinite hunger strike in the Crimean prison on March 19. He protests against the verdict, which he issued on 16 January 2018 fabricated against him a criminal case.
