The world Bank Board of Directors decided to grant Ukraine financial guarantees of $750 million On Tuesday, 18 December, was announced by President Petro Poroshenko in Facebook.
“This is not only an important signal to the solid support of our state. It is also a clear recognition by reputable financial institutions of our tangible progress on the path of reforms, particularly in the financial sector. Decisions such as this one, add confidence that we are going the right way,” – commented the decision of Poroshenko.
Earlier the world Bank predicted increase in the retirement age in Ukraine.
It was also reported that the first tranche of 500 million euros to Ukraine received from the EU on 11 December.
