The Istanbul reached an agreement with Gazprom on the financing of the pipeline on Turkish territory.

Turkey has reached agreement with Russia’s Gazprom to Finance Turkish stream on its territory. This was reported by RIA Novosti, the General Director of the Turkish state pipeline company Вotas Burhan Ozcan.

“We have already agreed with them on this issue. However, I can’t reveal the numbers – what percentage we’re going to do,” he said.

Ozcan noted that “the process of obtaining permits for a second branch of the Turkish stream continues in a positive way, no pitfalls there is no”.

According to him, the output of the pipeline on land will be carried out in the European part of Turkey, in Thrace in the district of Kyukei.

Recall, 10 October 2016, Russia and Turkey signed an intergovernmental agreement on the Turkish stream project.
