Twitter together with Bloomberg Media plans to create a service with round the clock broadcast of news. The project will be in the form of online channel on the platform of the social network, writes The Wall Street Journal.

It is expected that it will launch this fall. The channel, which is still untitled, will be in real time broadcast their own news from different corners of the world, and also to show checked the rollers of Twitter users.

Executive Director of Bloomberg Media, Justin Smith noted that many watch the news live on TV and immediately comment on what is happening in the social network. The companies want to combine these actions.

“We really believe that we can reach an audience who does not pay for TV and watch TV on the go, and we think that Bloomberg is the ideal partner for us,” said Twitter CFO Anthony Noto.

Representatives of Twitter and Bloomberg did not disclose to the newspaper the financial side of the agreement. However, it is noted that Bloomberg has full control over the content of the channel. In addition, it will be shown ads.

Earlier it was reported that Twitter is going to introduce a paid subscription.
