Analog stream UA:the First will be switched off daily from 6:00 to 18:00, while the company does not repay the debt.

In large parts of Ukraine because of debts were terminated analog broadcasting channel UA:First. Monday discontinued for a considerable part of the territory of Ukraine. On Monday, June 18, according to the website of the TV channel.

It is noted that from Monday, the provider of services – Concern of radio broadcasting, radio communication and television (KRRT) has stopped broadcasting via transmitters in the cities of bilopillia, Vinnitsa, Dnepr, Raisins, Kyiv, Luhansk, Odesa, Ternopil and Chernihiv.

The concern will shut down the analog stream UA:the First daily from 6:00 to 18:00 until the debt is paid.

Cause of blackouts has become the duty of the National public television company of Ukraine – a legal entity-the owner of the TV.

As reported in the channel, the duty arose from the fact that from April 2018 the money to pay for translation in the budget allocated by the Verkhovna Rada TV channel, is not provided at all. This led to a debt to the concern 75,12 million.

The NOTE complains that the state budget of Ukraine for 2018 at its allocated twice less money 777 million UAH, – it was stipulated by the law On public television and radio broadcasting of Ukraine.

In addition, for the payment of all broadcasts, as noted by NOTE, you need 340 million per year, and the budget allocated only UAH 51 million.

The TV channel notes “the reluctance of the authorities to Finance public broadcasting.”

From switch-off of analogue broadcasts will suffer the most viewers in small towns and villages, because there are no cable operators.

To restore analog broadcasting, viewers will be able to watch UA:First only in digital format (DVB-T2), as well as in cable channels and the Internet on the official website.

Earlier it was reported that analog television in Ukraine will start off in September. And ConnectLine disabling the analog signal to be held in April-may 2019.

Recall that according to the decision of the national Council on television, the first phase of switching off analogue signal was moved from March 30 to August 2018, and the second stage analog signal to the entire country, with the exception of channel UA: First, local broadcasters, analog channels on the territory of the ATO, and in some border areas is scheduled for January 2019.
