Ukraine and China plan to liberalize the visa regime. About it reports a press-service of the Ministry of foreign Affairs following the meeting of the Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavel klimkina with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi.

In particular, the parties agreed on practical steps to significantly liberalize the visa regime between the two States.

During the meeting, they also discussed the state and prospects of implementation of joint infrastructure projects. The Chinese foreign Minister expressed support for Ukraine’s participation in the Chinese initiative of “One belt, one road”.

Also, the Chinese side confirmed its support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine. The parties had expressed the belief that strategic relations between Ukraine and China do not depend on third parties.

We note that the Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin on April 27-28 is with official visit in China.

Earlier, Indonesia has abolished visas for short-term visits of citizens of Ukraine.
