Ukraine and France signed an agreement on the boats

The agreement was signed by Avakov and Castaner

The intergovernmental agreement was signed by the Ministers of internal Affairs of Ukraine and France. The contract is valued at EUR 136,5 million.

Ukraine and France signed an agreement to manufacture and technical support of 20 patrol ships. This was announced on Tuesday, November 19, Minister of internal Affairs Arsen Avakov in Twitter.

“On behalf of the government of Ukraine signed an agreement with the Minister of internal Affairs of France, Christophe Castaneros (EUR136,5 million) on the manufacture and support of 20 patrol ships, 5 of them and all RIB boats we will build in Ukraine. Thank you France for support in strengthening the system of marine security and safety”, – Avakov wrote.

As reported, all 20 boats will get edge service for three years. With 25% of production boats will be localized in Ukraine.
