The sides discussed practical steps to accelerate the signing of the FTA

The parties will consider practical steps in-plane acceleration of the signing of the free trade Agreement between the two countries.

Ukraine and Israel are close to signing a free trade Agreement between the two countries. On Thursday, August 16, the press service of the presidential Administration of Ukraine.

In particular, it is specified that the head of the presidential administration Ihor rainin met with the co-chair of the joint Intergovernmental Ukrainian-Israeli Commission on trade and economic cooperation, Minister of ecology of Israel, Minister of Jerusalem Affairs Zeev Elkin.

According to the Ministry, the negotiations were marked by a high level of political dialogue between Ukraine and Israel and close coordination of the two countries in the international arena.

“The sides noted the growth of trade-economic cooperation between Ukraine and Israel, and discussed the practical steps in the plane of the acceleration of the signing of the free trade Agreement between the two странами2, – stated in the message.

It is noted that the rainin invited the Israeli side to take part in the celebration of the 27th anniversary of independence of Ukraine and the work of the 10-th international economic investment forum, which will be held in Kharkiv on September 28.

“This is the largest forum on the Eastern part of our country is one of the few that is completed the particular signing of contracts in various sectors of industry, particularly in the military sphere”, – said the head of the presidential administration.

We will remind, earlier Ukraine and Israel completed negotiations on the FTA.

It was also reported that Ukraine plans to sign an FTA agreement with Turkey.
