Poland expressed its position on the law on education in Ukraine

Kiev and Warsaw have come to an agreement on the language article of the law on education.

The Ministry of education of Ukraine and Poland signed an agreement on article on languages in the law of Ukraine on education. On Monday, 23 October, said Deputy Prime Minister of Poland Piotr Glinski, during a meeting with journalists, reports Interfax-Ukraine.

“Today, as soon as I became aware, an agreement was signed by the heads of educational departments following the visit last week, Minister Zalewski in Ukraine and the agreements reached”, – he said, commenting on the position of Poland on the Ukrainian law “About education”.

Earlier, the Minister of foreign Affairs of Poland Witold Waszczykowski refused Hungarian counterpart péter Szijjártó in signing a joint letter to Ukraine’s law on education.

Recall that Poland opposes the revision of the agreement on Association of Ukraine with the European Union and encourages Kiev and Budapest to resolve through dialogue a dispute over Ukrainian law “About education”.
