Direct air service between Ukraine and Uzbekistan resumed after a five year hiatus: the airline Uzbekistan Airways jointly with the firm Charter Flights Group launch direct Charter flights on the route Tashkent-Kiev-Tashkent. On Monday, September 9, reported the press service of the company.

It is noted that the flights will be operated once a week on Saturdays and will start on 5 October.

Departure from Tashkent at 23:55 (Saturday), arrival to Kiev at 02:45 (Sunday), the journey time will be 4 hours 50 minutes.

Departure from Kiev at 04:15 (Sunday), arrival in Tashkent is at 10:45 (Sunday), the journey time will be 4 hours 30 minutes.

The flights will be operated with Boeing 757-300 and Airbus A-320.

Before that, the Ukraine and Uzbekistan for several years unsuccessfully tried to resume flights. However, due to unresolved conflicts this was not possible to do.

Earlier it was reported that Ukraine has banned flights to one of the cargo carriers.
