Recently, the Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine, was terminated 48 treaties, including the Treaty of friendship.

In the near future will be terminated approximately 40 bilateral treaties with the Russian Federation. On Thursday, November 29, Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin in the air of 1+1.

He reminded that the Treaty on friendship, cooperation and partnership between Ukraine and Russia of 1997 ceases to exist.

“Accordingly, we have given Russia a clear message and a diplomatic note that he ceases to exist in accordance with the procedure, which he founded. Therefore, no Treaty will not” – said Klimkin.

All, according to him, the last time it was broken 48 treaties with Russia.

“We killed 48 of bilateral agreements, but they should be treated very carefully. In order for it to not hurt our citizens,” – said Klimkin.

On the latest developments in the Kerch Strait, Klimkin said that in this case the main claim added another complaint.

“We have a fundamental claim that covers the Black and Azov seas and the Kerch Strait. According to the Convention on law of the sea, the results of the event on Sunday, we filed an additional complaint,” he said.

The evening of 25 November the Kerch bridge, the Russian special forces seized three Ukrainian ships. As a result, were wounded six Ukrainian soldiers.

The foreign Ministry of Ukraine said that Russia started the war against Ukraine in international waters.

Russia calls Ukraine’s actions in the Kerch Strait “provocative”. The Russian foreign Ministry handed a protest note to the chargé d’affaires of Ukraine.
