In addition, Ukraine for the specified period imported electricity of $1,316 million (from Russia – at $1,245 million, Belarus – $0,064 million, Moldova – $0,008 million).

Note that for the entire 2017 year Ukraine exported electricity by 5.2 billion kWh by $235,541 million

In 2018 year, Ukraine plans to increase electricity exports by 13.3% (0,689 billion kWh) compared to 2017 year – to 5,855 billion kWh. According to the forecast balance for 2018 in particular, the supply of Burshtyn island (Hungary, Slovakia, Romania) planned in the amount of 3.6 billion kWh in Poland is 1.2 billion kWh, Moldova – 1,055 billion kWh.

We will remind, in the first 10 months of this year exports of Ukrainian electricity in January-Oct-2018 grew by 27.1% compared to the same period of 2017 to $266,113 million

It was also reported that electricity rates could double next year, when Ukraine will have a new electricity market.
