Ukraine has exhausted the quota for the export of a number of products in the EU

100% exhausted tariff quotas of the EU on imports of a number of Ukrainian agricultural and food products, including additional trade preferences on imports of honey and processed tomatoes.

Ukraine since the beginning of 2018 as of Tuesday, December 4, has exhausted allocated to the year of quota for duty-free delivery to European Union countries of a number of products. This is stated in the message of Ministry of agrarian policy and food.

According to the Deputy Minister of agrarian policy and food of Ukraine on European integration Olga Trofimciuc, for the third year there is growth of bilateral trade in agriculture between Ukraine and the EU in the framework of the FTA.

“Ukrainian producers are increasingly using the import tariff quotas provided by the EU. As of 4 December 2018 completely exhausted quotas for Ukrainian honey, malt and wheat gluten, starch, processed tomatoes grape and Apple juice, wheat, corn, barley cereals and flour, butter and pasta, as well as for poultry meat”, – stated in the message.

Also, according to Trofimovoj, 97,7% of used quota Ukrainian garlic and 99.4% of products of processing of malt and starch.

Remain in full trade preferences for such items as sugar syrups, mushrooms, processed products of oil.

We will remind, in September Ukraine has exhausted the basic export quotas to the EU.

It was also reported that for the first ten days of this year, Ukraine has exhausted the quota for duty-free supplies of honey, grape and Apple juices.
