The EU has increased the quota for Ukrainian honey to 6,000 tonnes

Ukrainian exporters use the capabilities 19 of 40 tariff quotas of the EU, allocated for the year 2020.

The Ukrainian company for three weeks used the quota of the EU honey, which in 2020 had increased to 6,000 tons per year. It is reported by the European integration portal.

Among other products most already used quota on malt and wheat gluten (72%), grape and Apple juices (67%), sugar (28%), poultry meat and semi-finished products from poultry meat (25%), eggs and albumins (20%).

Since the beginning of Ukrainian exporters use the capabilities 19 of 40 tariff quotas.

Tariff quotas allow Ukrainian producers to export products to the EU at a reduced or zero rate of duty. You can export without the use of quotas, but then you have to pay the fee in full.

Just this year, the EU increased the quota for 18 agricultural items.

Earlier it was reported that the EU will dramatically increase the quota for Ukrainian chicken. From 2020 onwards a duty free quota for export of poultry meat to the EU will increase from 20 to 70 thousand tons.
