Gas reserves in UGS of Ukraine are growing rapidly

In Ukraine for the day arrived from Europe more than 53 million cubic meters of gas. The main volume was received from Slovakia.

The volume of gas in underground storages of Ukraine as of 22 June reached 13,002 billion cubic meters this is evidenced by the operational data of the Ukrtransgaz on Monday, June 24.

So, last Saturday, in underground storage facilities of Ukraine was pumped nearly 70 million cubic metres of gas. The selection of stores was carried out.

It is also stated that in Ukraine for the day, there were 53,67 million cubic meters of gas from Slovakia – 38,42 million cubic meters, from Hungary – 11.3 million cubic meters, and from Poland – 3,95 million cubic metres of its own gas production per day amounted to almost of 56.61 million cubic meters of gas.

Thus Ukrainian underground storage facilities today are filled to 42%. As you know, Ukraine has Europe’s largest gas storage – 12 underground gas storage facilities total active capacity of about 31 billion cubic meters.

Recall that in Ukraine this year need to upload to store an extra 3 billion cubic meters of gas. The beginning of the heating season in underground storage facilities should have 20 billion cubic meters.

Earlier it was reported that Naftogaz had any problems with the purchase of gas for the winter due to lack of funds. This was announced by the head of the company Andrey Kobelev.
