Ukrtransnafta announced the date of negotiations with Russia on non-conforming oil from the Druzhba pipeline.
The next round of negotiations with Russia on the localization of substandard Russian oil from the Druzhba pipeline, will be held on may 14. This was announced by first Deputy Director General of JSC Ukrtransnafta Andrey Pasishnik, reports Interfax-Ukraine.
“In the oil pipeline Odessa-Kremenchug – oil variety Azeri, in the “Friendship” pipeline – the Urals … For the resumption of transit in the EU need to release at least one thread of Friendship from substandard oil,” said Pasishnik.
He added that the temporary storage of non-conforming oil “is the subject of negotiations with Russia, the next round of which will take place on 14 may.”
The representative of Ukrtransnafta said that the oil situation in Friendship “came in the period of Easter and may holidays, so had difficulties with the participation of government agencies in addressing this problem.”

On 26 April Minsk hosted negotiations on settling the situation with oil transit through the Druzhba pipeline. Representatives of the oil transportation companies of Ukraine, Belarus, Poland and Russia agreed on a technical solution to resume his work.
