“If the registration of passenger electric cars in comparison with last year increased by 47%, while demand for commercial electric vehicles jumped by 2.1 times”, – stated in the message.

Most Ukrainians purchased by the electric vehicle has previously been used.

For the period from January to August 2019, the share of imported second-hand in the primary market for passenger electric vehicles was 91% and the commercial segment of the market – 95%.

The most popular passenger vehicles in Ukraine continues to be the Nissan Leaf – for the first eight months of 2019 2207 cars of this model joined the fleet of the country.

The top 10 electric vehicles with a significant gap to the leader, also included: Tesla Model S – 384 car, BMW i3 – 243 car, the FIAT 500E – 207 car, the Volkswagen E-Golf – 198 car, RenaultZoe– 186 auto, Mercedes-BenzB-ClassElectricDrive– 155 car, TeslaModelX– 136 auto, ChevroletBolt– 126 cars, JaguarI-Pace– 102 car.

“In the commercial segment almost all the statistics formed the Renault Zoe, Kangoo Z. E. – 323 registration from the beginning of the year”, – stated in the message.

We will remind, in January-July 2019 has been registered in Ukraine 4035 electric vehicles. It is 53% more compared to the same period last year.

It was also reported that the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky has signed a law introducing the traffic signs for Parking and charging electric vehicles, as well as green rooms for electric vehicles.
