Ukraine took first place in the rating among the CIS countries

For the year Ukraine has overtaken Russia in the rankings by four positions.

In the ranking of passports that is based on the number of countries available to passport holders to visit without a visa, Ukraine took the 44th place. The rankings were compiled by consulting company Henley & Partners, reported on the website of the company.

The authors analyzed 200 countries and territories.

It is noted that for the past five years, the first place in the ranking is consistently maintained for a passport Germany. Citizens can visit without visas 177 countries.

Second place went to Singapore with 176 countries. And third place was shared by eight countries – Sweden, UK, Denmark, Italy, Norway Finland, France and Japan. Citizens in each of these countries can visit the 175 countries in the world, not processing visa.

Ukraine in the world rankings

The top ten rankings were about three dozen countries-most of them — representatives of the European Union. The exception is marked Japan and Singapore and South Korea, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

Ukraine in the rating ranks first among the former Soviet republics. It is on 44th.

Russia ranked 48th place in the Index, dividing it from the Republic of Moldova and Montenegro. Russians can visit without a visa 110 countries.

The last place in the ranking went to Afghanistan, citizens of which opened visa-free access to 24 countries.

Recall that in 2017 bezveza with the EU have used almost 380 thousand Ukrainians.

Earlier in Ukraine entered into force on visa-free regime with the UAE.
