The human rights organization “Ecology Right People” established a secret place where was testing a new rocket Tornado in the Odessa region. According to the statements of environmentalists, the point of destruction chose 120 kilometers from the place of volley. “The last 90 years, there is a reserved area of the black sea biosphere reserve, the area with the most stringent security regime that exists in the environmental legislation. In 1984 this reserve was the first in the USSR were taken under the protection of UNESCO. The shooting took place a few days after the reserve celebrated its 90th birthday. the Territory of the protected zone is in constant use by the administration of the reserve, and, therefore, any polygon can not be here” – note the environmentalists.

Human rights activists claimed that they had received a response from Mineralogy, from which it follows that indeed, on Tendra spit was testing new missiles. First Deputy Minister of defense I. S. Rusnak reports that permission to conduct the explosion was coordinated with the Director of the reserve (letter 22.05.2017 No. 01-12/118/126).

The organization has already sent appeals to the State environmental Inspectorate on the calculation of damages. Environmentalists also repeatedly appealed to the President of Ukraine with the requirement to ensure strict compliance with NATO standards during the conduct of military exercises and testing of new equipment.
