The Ministry of economic development and trade expects that thanks to this year’s reforms Ukraine will be able next year to climb 15-20 steps in the world Bank’s Doing Business. This was during a press conference said the first Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of economic development and trade of Ukraine Stepan Kubiv.

“Once the ranking of ease of doing business, Ukraine was ranked 80-th place. Due to technical peculiarities of the methodology of calculation does not take account of the changes to the Tax code, including reducing the single social payment, creating public access to data on real estate, creation of single window on the Ukrainian customs, which started to work after the point of reference for the present report on doing business. The world Bank also noted in the ranking of the access of notaries to registers of real estate as a Registrar, which speeds up the registration of property rights. Kubiv stressed that the government continues to make life easier for business. In particular, he recalled that as a result of deregulation of the day, the Cabinet was abolished 367 obsolete and illegal regulatory acts.

Earlier, the Deputy Minister of economic development and trade of Ukraine Maxim Nefedov stated that the Cabinet of Ministers until the end of the year intends to carry out necessary legislative initiatives, which will allow Ukraine to improve its position in the ranking of ease of doing business (Doing Business) world Bank and to enter the top 30 countries by 2018.

Doing Business Report — an annual study of the world Bank group, assessing 189 countries in ease of implementation of business activity on the basis of 11 indicators.
