Ukraine increased gas transit

Украина увеличила транзит газа

Ukrtransgaz fully complied with requests for the transportation of gas, despite Gazprom’s failure to comply with the contractual pressures in pipelines on the input points in the GTS.

At the end of March the volume of natural gas transit via Ukraine has increased by 21.3% compared to the same period of 2017 and amounted to 8.1 billion cubic meters. it is reported Ukrtransgaz Monday, April 2.

It is noted that the company promptly and fully complied with requests for the transportation of gas, despite the systematic failure of Russia’s Gazprom contract pressure in the main gas pipelines on the input points in the Ukrainian GTS.

The average daily transit in March was 260 million cubic meters, which is almost 50 million/day or 22% more than in February 2018.

“The results of the first quarter of 2018, the transit of gas from Russia through Ukraine decreased to 20.1 billion cubic meters, which is 3.1 billion cubic meters, or 13.3% less than in the first three months of last year”, – reported in October.

Recall that by the end of 2017 through the GTS in Europe was set a record volume of gas in the last eight years of 93.5 billion cubic meters.
