Trade with Norway for 2017 increased by 32.1% and exports increased by 36.4%, said the Minister of economic development and trade.

According to him, the trade turnover with Norway for 2017 increased by 32.1% relative to 2016, the exports increased by 36.4%. He also noted that more than 23% of Norwegian investments into the industry and nearly 18% in scientific and scientific-technical activities.

Thus, according to him, the Norwegian Scatec Solar plans to build in Ukraine from 7 to 10 complexes of solar power plants with a total capacity of 200 to 300 mW and cost between 200 and 300 million euros. The first two of them should appear in Cherkasy region.

In addition, another Norwegian company NBT – plans to invest about $ 450 million to build 67 wind installations with a capacity of 250 MW in Kherson region.

Earlier it was reported that from June to August Ukraine increased its export of frozen berries and fruits are 80% to 20 thousand tonnes.

It was also reported that in the 2017-2018 marketing year, for the first time in the last five years has been a fall in grain exports by 9.6%.
