Gas in underground storage facilities more than in 2016, but less than in 2015

Ukraine after the end of the heating season 2016/2017 years has increased the gas reserves in its underground storage (UGS) is 47.3%, according to operational data of PJSC Ukrtransgaz, according to Interfax-Ukraine.

So, since March 22, when they were the smallest ones gas reserves in underground storage facilities this year, on July 8, the store added 3 billion 828,31 million cubic meters from 8 billion 100,43 million cubic meters to 11 billion 928,74 million cubic meters.

According to the Agency, current reserves by 21.5% more than on July 8, 2016 (9 billion 821,16 million cubic meters), but 2.1% less than July 8, 2015 (12 billion 187,51 million cubic meters) and 17.7% less than July 8, 2014 (14 billion 485,98 million cubic meters).

Including in the period 1 to 8 July 2017 Ukraine has expanded underground storage facilities to 389 million cubic meters of gas to or from 48.63 million cubic meters/day, while in June the daily fix averaged 49,88 million cubic meters, in may – 51,86 million cubic meters/day.

Recall, Ukraine in 2017 has doubled its gas imports.
