Canada continues to support the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, said the foreign Ministry.

The Minister of foreign Affairs of Canada Chrystia Freeland intends next week to make a visit to Ukraine. This was stated by the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Canada, writes UKRINFORM on Friday, August 24.

“As a further manifestation of devotion to Canada’s relations with Ukraine foreign Minister next week will travel to Ukraine”, – stated in canadian foreign Ministry.

Freeland will be in Ukraine for only one day – August 28. In Kiev, she will meet with President Petro Poroshenko, Prime Minister Volodymyr Hroisman and foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin, as well as act as the meeting of ambassadors.

“Canada continues to support the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, and also the important democratic, economic and social reforms,” – said the foreign Minister of Canada.

As part of his European tour Freeland will also visit Germany and France, where he will speak to the ambassadors of these countries.

Earlier Chrystia Freeland said the continued support of Ukraine. She also announced the allocation of Ukraine $ 4.6 million for training of the Armed forces.
