Ukraine took the 49th place among the 74 developing countries according to the index of inclusiveness of economic development

Ukraine is on 49th place on the index of inclusive economic development, which assesses the degree of prevalence of positive effects of economic growth to all segments of the population.

Ukraine took the 49th place among the 74 developing countries according to the index of inclusiveness of economic development, which assesses the degree of prevalence of positive effects of economic growth to all segments of the population. This is evidenced by the annual survey index The Inclusive Development Index (IDI) 2018 published on the website of the world economic forum in Davos (Switzerland).

According to the study, the inclusion of economic development in Ukraine over the past 5 years decreased by 6.8%.

The top 5 emerging countries according to the criterion of inclusive economic growth included Lithuania, Hungary, Azerbaijan, Latvia and Poland. Russia was in 19th place.

Among the developed countries in terms of inclusive economic growth in the top 5 included Norway, Iceland, Luxembourg, Switzerland and Denmark.

We will remind, earlier it was reported that Ukraine took the third place among the recipients of loans from the European Bank for reconstruction and development.
