The lawsuit concerns the restrictions on import of Ukrainian food products.

Kiev is ready to submit to the world trade organization another lawsuit against Russia. In an interview with DT.UA announced the first trade representative of Ukraine Nataliya Mykolska.

According to her, this claim relates to restrictions on import of Ukrainian food products on the basis of sanitary norms.

“We are preparing another lawsuit, which we have long been talking about. It is for us the most difficult from the point of view of collecting evidence. It concerns the restriction of import of food products, the so-called phytosanitary group, goods the importation of which is restricted by sanitary norms. A lot of them, we analysed everything and decided to be limited to only those positions for which we have a good evidence base,” said Gaina.

She reported that the discussion of such disputes is necessary to understand that evidence is not the state, but directly from the company.

“We have already finalize a request for consultations in this matter and intend to submit soon,” said a sales representative.

As reported Корреспондент.netin October 2015, Ukraine has filed against Russia first complaint to the WTO regarding export restrictions cars.

And in February of this year Ukraine has filed a second lawsuit against Russia in the WTO relating to restrictions on the transit of Ukrainian goods to Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.

In March of this year it became known that Ukraine is preparing the third lawsuit to the world trade organization against Russia.
