The situation with the publication of the site “Peacemaker” lists of journalists who received accreditation in the so-called “DNR” should be a reason for the development of the rules of finding media in the occupied territory of Ukraine. This was stated by Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine on European integration Ivanna klympush-Tsintsadze, reports “Interfax-Ukraine”.

“We need the state to apologize to the journalists who responsibly, honestly and objectively cover the events. But since the scandal with the publication of the lists, – ed) to speak more clearly about the rules of the state, as we can see, the rules cover the situation on this territory”, – said Deputy Prime Minister.

Klympush-Tsintsadze noted that the received signals of concern about this situation from the international partners of Ukraine and the world media.

“I got a certain number of messages, calls from our friends from abroad, who, indeed, were covered objectively the situation in Ukraine in the territory, which from the first days it was clear that she occupied… who were concerned that their data was in the open space, and, obviously, those people who were our voice abroad”, – said Deputy Prime Minister.

However, she expressed hope that European and international partners of Ukraine “understand and accept” common rules for finding media in the occupied Donbas. “And I hope friends we will not lose”, she added.

At the same Klympush-Tsintsadze believes that the debate about what accreditation is from terrorist organizations is a violation of the principles of journalism is “pseudo-Patriotic position”. “Unfortunately, life is not black and white,” said she.

At the same time, the head of the EU delegation to Ukraine Jan Tombinski believes that the publication of personal data of foreign journalists on the site “Peacemaker” will damage the reputation of Ukraine.

“Investment in reputation capital of Ukraine – we can’t lose friends. What happened to “Peacemaker” is an event that can have very negative consequences,” – said Tombinsky.

He explained that in the list are, in particular, journalists-friends of Ukraine, but their safety may be threatened. “So you lose friends”, – said the head of the EU delegation in Ukraine.

We will remind, the site “Peacemaker” published an updated list of accredited in the so-called “DNR” journalists. The founders apologized for the publication of the previous list in the context of the fact that he “was not the first freshness”. The new list contains 5412 records.
