Ukraine reduced gas imports by almost a quarter

For 11 months from Slovakia came of 6.23 billion cubic meters of gas. This is 32% less than last year.

Ukraine in January-November of 2018, reduced the import of natural gas by 22.8% – to 2.98 billion cubic meters, compared with the same period of 2017 to 10.1 billion cubic meters.

For 11 months from Slovakia came of 6.23 billion cubic meters of gas (-32,6% to January-November-2017), Hungary – 3 billion 223,8 million cubic meters (+19,3%), Poland – 657,1 million cubic meters (-43%).

In November, imports amounted to 971,2 million cubic meters of gas, which is 26.2% less than in November 2017 (1 billion 316,8 million cubic meters).

At the same time Ukraine for more than three years (from November 26 2015) natural gas imports contract with Russia’s Gazprom, buying it exclusively on its Western border.

Earlier in November, it was reported that imported gas for Ukraine rose to a record. Its average price amounted to UAH 9059,13 (323,44 dollars.) per thousand cubic meters.

Recall that in 2017 Ukraine has increased gas imports from Europe by 27% (to 3 billion cubic m.) – up to 14.1 billion cubic meters.
