During the 2017/2018 marketing year, Ukraine exported five million tons of grain crops less than a year earlier.

Ukraine exported 39.4 million tons of grain crops during the 2017/2018 marketing year (1 July 2017 to 30 June 2018). About it reports a press-service of Ministry of agrarian policy and food of Ukraine as of Tuesday, July 3.

In particular, it was exported: wheat – 17.1 thousand tons; barley – 4,3 thousand tons; rye – 36.8 thousand tons; corn – 17.7 thousand tons.

It was also exported 412,6 thousand tons of flour.

At the same time in the past 2016/2017 marketing year, Ukraine has set a new record for grain exports, sending abroad 44,4 million tons of grain. A year earlier (in the 2015/2016 marketing year) exports amounted to 39.5 million tons.

From 1 July 2018 2018/2019 began marketing period that will end June 30, 2019.

Earlier it was reported that since the beginning of the harvesting campaign, agrarians in Ukraine have collected the first million of grain.
