In the CIS Executive Committee reported that it had received official notification from Kiev about the refusal in the presence of their observers at the election.

Ukraine has officially refused from the participation of the CIS observers in the elections in 2019. On Wednesday, 10 October, said the head of the CIS Executive Committee Sergei Lebedev, answering the question of the Russian Agency TASS.

“We have received official notification from the relevant structures of Ukraine, that Ukraine refuses to participate in our observation, so it’s unlikely we’ll go there,” he said.

Recall that in late August, Ukraine has closed its representation in statutory bodies of the CIS.

On may 22 the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko enacted the decision NSDC of Ukraine’s withdrawal from the CIS.
